To maintain the validity of the Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee, the vehicle must be inspected on an annual basis by the BMW Retailer that carried out the original repair. In the event of a claim, the claimant will be required to return the vehicle to the BMW Retailer responsible for the original repair. Lifetime means for the period of time that the vehicle remains in the ownership of the original driver at the time the repair was carried out. The BMW Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee is not transferable to subsequent owners of the vehicle.
